These Terms of Service govern moving services provided by Economy Movers and your use of this website. By booking a move with us, you agree to the terms below. We have written them plainly so there are no surprises.
Estimates and Binding Quotes
A non-binding estimate is our good-faith projection of cost based on the information you give us. A binding written quote is a fixed price for the move as described; it holds as long as the inventory, access, and dates do not change. If you add items, change addresses, or the access turns out to be different from what you told us, the price may be adjusted. We will always tell you before any change to the agreed price.
Deposit and Cancellation
A $79 deposit reserves your date and is applied toward your final total. If you cancel with reasonable notice before the scheduled move, your deposit may be refunded or credited; cancellations made at the last minute may forfeit the deposit to cover the slot we held for you. Rescheduling is free when done with advance notice.
Liability and Valuation
Released-value protection of $0.60 per pound per item is included at no extra charge and is the default level of liability. Full-value protection, which covers the repair or replacement value of your items, is available for an added cost and must be selected before the move. Any claim should be submitted to us in writing without unnecessary delay. We are not liable for items packed by the customer in boxes we did not pack, or for ordinary wear in transit.
Payment and Governing Law
Payment is due upon completion of the move unless otherwise agreed in writing. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Questions? Email [email protected] or call (888) 711-4778.
